About Roselle
She is a Filipino citizen, and has worked since the age of 17. She became independent, and learned to live on her own, with no family to depend on.
At the age of 20 she was given an opportunity to work abroad in the United Arab Emirates at one of the leading Home Brand Retailer Companies as a Sales Associate. She chose to accept a new challenge in her life by accepting that offer and work far from her loved ones. It was her strong desire to develop her skills, learn and grow that gave her the boost to help her family as a breadwinner.
For her it was quite challenging at a young age being that far from her family, and taking care of herself on her own. Having no one beside her if she got sick. She thought that having a nice career and getting a high salary can make her whole and satisfy that time but she realized she was wrong.
The toughest experience she went through
She’s been in a car accident and she thought that she would die that time but God is so good and gave her another chance to live. She was also a victim of abuse by another nationality. She can’t remember how many times she got sick as well when she’s away from her family. Those situations that she experienced gave her fear and trust issues. It is not easy to be abused, especially when you are far from your loved ones and you don't have someone to talk to.
There are times she came to a point asking God why He allows it to happen, why she is the one who needs to experience those tragic things, while all she wants is to provide a good life to her family. But God reminds her that out of bad things that happened to her , God can create something new and it always works together for good and for a greater purpose.
What Impact and How She Impact Others
Looking back all she can say is ,it was a great blessing as well for her, the car accident and abuse that she went through is just a way of showing God’s grace and mercy to her life. Despite those tragic moments of her life, she can say that she is stronger than before and she is not alone because all this time God remains faithful and never leaves her. She is not dwelling anymore on the regrets or even questioning God because, In God she sees herself whole and content. And now she is also thankful, blessed and grateful. She used that experience as a motivation and inspiration as well to other people, especially women. Even though she had bad experiences or situations , she believed that we have a different story to tell or to share. She can use those stories to speak about life and be a blessing to the people surrounding us.
What Motivates Her
Her story itself motivates her and gives her the courage as well to speak about her experience. Roselle say’s “I am also thankful to be part of NVSME Team.
